Rapture Island is a wandering simulator with no goal & intentionally low-quality, retro graphics. It is something that could have been an early 3D game, with graphics reminiscent of the Super FX Chip. Also heavily inspired by poking around Lego Island as a kid, not engaging with any of the main quest.
Feel free to stay as long as you wish.

WASD Keys - Move character
Arrow Keys - Move camera
Space Key - Zoom in
Escape Key - End game
(The low framerate is intentional. And no, I will not remove it)

the music slaps. at first it got stuck on the opening and crashed but then eventually worked somehow and it was awesome. only played a bit but i will be back. sublime.
glad you were able to play it! the game probably crashed because the entire island loads at once right at the beginning, it was my first 3D game so I didn't really know what I was doing, lol
may I say a camera mechanic would be very cool

& yeah everything is made by me, except for a few songs which sample other works. glad you enjoyed it!

haha it's funny you say that, because I sampled it in the song! There are actually two other songs in the game that I made "vaporwave" remixes of.

from what i can find online this might be an issue with the payment processing service you use though i'm not sure, just wanted to let you know in case it is so you don't get screwed over! (also your game looks amazing and I'm very excited to play it!)

WOW. i thought this would be cool, but this completely blew my mind. it's truly one of my favourite experiences with videogames of all time, and it was only 41 minutes !! it went places i didn't expect, and the music was incredible. just so bedazzled.
i'm a massive fan of flat shaded early 3d graphics... i have no nostalgia for it, but it really tickles me. despite this experience being singular, i'd like to see some games inspired by this!

Wow! Walking around an original 3D world and seeing different islands from various places… it feels so nice! 🐱
At first, I don’t know how to climb to the top of the island, so I wander around, then I realize it’s right in front of the starting point.
The view after exploring the whole island is just the best, meow~!
